We made a quick trip to Muskogee this weekend. We have been trying to find time to go visit Granny for months, and this weekend we finally just went. It was a long drive, but it was well worth it. We saw Granny for awhile on Saturday evening and then for awhile on Sunday. She looks great. She was pretty tired, but that is to be expected. She is as sharp as ever, and she calls a spade a spade. I am amazed at the details that she remembers. She knows her family very well. I could talk with her (mostly listen) for hours. Granny is my Great-Grandma, so that makes her Lucas' Great-Great-Grandma. Seeing him in her arms looking up at her was special to me.
