A nose job. . .

Lucas had his nose checkup in Omaha yesterday. The doctor agreed that the right side is not completely blocked, but he said it is mostly blocked. Also, the left side is not quite as open as normal. So the doctor recommended that we redo the surgery. Lucas could go through life with one nostril, but it would be very annoying. It will be an out-patient procedure, so it should not be too traumatic. We have not scheduled the surgery yet, but the doctor did not see any need to wait any longer.

Lucas also had his 12 mo check-up. He had to get 3 more shots (which he hated), and we found out that he has an ear infection. So, the poor guy has not been too happy. Can you believe he only weighs 17.5 lbs? He is below the 5th percentile for his age (95% of boys the same age weigh more). He started walking early, and his two lonely teeth limit what he can eat. I don't think we have to worry. He seems pretty healthy.
